I am extremely anxious about graduation because it’s almost here and times seems to fly by, it feels as if i’ve been in school for only 2 months. Graduation is right around the corner with only about 4 month left in school! I am both excited and nervous about graduation but at the same time I feel sorrow that my high school journey is almost to an end. Just thinking about the memories I have created here and the ones I will leave behind can be happy and sorrowful. This whole senior experience has been a rollercoaster of emotions, anxiety, and grade.
It all went by so fast in the blink of an eye first semester was gone and the seconds feels no different since it’s nearing graduation. My time here has been some of the most incredible four years of my life thus far. High school is such an amazing experience and am glad that senior projects exist because not only am I reflecting on my senior year I am reflecting on all four years that i’ve been here and what kind of a person I have grew into. High school has shaped me for the better, I have become more mature, responsible and respectful. Not only will I look at what I have done alone but how I did it, what i’ve done, and what I will do next in life. Ready for the next stage in life!
So far for post graduation preparation I have applied for COS and PC community colleges where I hope to obtain my associates degree in music or art but, enough talk about post graduation plans I need to focus on the present, and what I need to accomplish before I set out to do my future goals. I need to plan on making it to graduation. I still need to pace myself so that I may complete all my seven courses in high school to graduate and Look forward to the rest of my time here at Lindsay High School. I feel confident that I will make it to graduation because high school has equipped me and prepared me with the knowledge to strive and finish strong.
I look forward to graduating with my class of 2016 in June. I’m just so anxious thinking about how closer and closer I am to graduation each day. There are multiple countdowns in several of my classes that motive or scare seniors with how many more days are left or a weekly countdown of our time left in Lindsay High School. Looking back on my senior year so far I’m most grateful for the teachers and staff chosen to help me along the way to graduation and extremely happy for the friends I have not only in my senior year but everyone I have became friends with in all 4 years of my high school journey. My senior year so far has been a rewarding one looking back at memories that will most likely stay with me forever. I believe high school has changed me for the best and am eager to see where I go from here.
